The principles of caregiving are the same across all generational issues. I was recently in a meeting in Washington, DC and was touched by the number of people who came up to talk about my book and tell me 'their' story. Caregivers have a heavy burden to bear but most would not trade that burden with any one else. It is a privilege to care for our loved ones. Yes it is hard, it is tiring, it is overwhelming at times but it is also a privilege, a joy, a special time of quiet bonding with our loved one. Count your blessings not your trials and remember God's Amazing Grace in meeting your needs.
Special 'shout-out' to those caring for loved ones with breast cancer this month.
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
