Hope and Comfort

Another morning… Another sunrise. What is your first thought when the sun comes up in the morning?

Some days mine is “No, not yet!” or “Ugh, I have so much to do today!” It can be very dreary and monotonous to care for someone day in and day out. Do not make any decisions or get into wearisome discussions in the evening when you are tired. Table the discussion/decision and revisit it in the morning when you are fresh. This has been a long cold winter, but now spring is here. Just as sure as the sun rises every morning, and spring follows winter, so God’s faithfulness is new every morning. Focus on the good, overlook the annoying!

Lamentations 3:22-24 "It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him."
