Laughter

What a delightful winter we have had in the south!  No snow, warm weather and special times of service for the Lord. I heard this in a recent Sunday School lesson - We are to be 'salt' and 'light' in this world - put another way - are we 'shaking' and 'shining'. All day long, every day, whatever we are doing, we are to consciously choose God's way!  That has always been a challenge for me with the day to day personal interactions at home.  But, I will choose to be salt and light even at home.

For this month, we all need a little laughter!  I was caring for 4 year old triplets for the afternoon last week.  It was beautiful outside so I took them on a long walk.  Robins were everywhere!  We happened upon a group of 10-12 Robins splashing in a mud puddle.  The boys were fascinated and stayed very quiet, watching, until one of the boys turned to me and said in all seriousness...."where is their towel?"

Take time to have a laugh and you will be amazed at how much easier our 'shaking' and 'shining' will be today!
