Goal for the New Year: Live this year so you will have no regrets next year!
Notice - I did not say "New Year's Resolution" - They can and are broken usually within the first week or two but a Goal is something to strive for all year long! Our only source of strength to achieve this goal is through study and reliance on the Word of God and asking the Holy Spirit to control our thoughts, which will help with our attitudes, which will control our actions.
With this in mind, I would like to encourage you to meditate and/or memorize with me the “Alphabet Verses”. I learned these as a child and am amazed (although I shouldn’t be) at how relevant they are to the caregiver. I will let you make your own applications!
"A soft answer turns away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger.” (Proverbs 15:1)
“Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32)
