Heart month, Valentine’s Day and the month of love.
Do you have any old Valentine’s Day cards that you or your parents gave each other? Get them out and share them with the one you are caregiving. Old cards are amazing and open the door to memories. Take advantage of these moments to hear old stories. While you are reminiscing, get out old photo albums and label who is in every picture. Don’t forget the boxes of photos as well. As you label the albums, put a note of explanation or anecdote regarding the picture. What a treasure these old Valentine's and old photos with the added stories will be to your children and grandchildren!
Matthew 22:36-39 "Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."
