This summer has been very unusual…new record rainfall in the south, and fires in the west due to lack of rain. With a coast to coast interstate system, it seems a great idea to install down the median a pipeline for rainwater. Need rain out west, turn the valve and pump the South’s rainwater to where it is needed.
As a caregiver, do you have a plan of escape for yourself and your loved one in the event of an emergency evacuation? Make a list of essentials to gather quickly…medicine, important documents, cell phone and family phone numbers. What else can you think of? Go to Facebook: “Biblical Caregiving” and share your list of essentials.
This summer has also seen a number of tragedies and unexpected deaths.
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted” (Eccl. 3:1-2)
Let us make the most of our time with our loved ones and friends and choose to be the caregiver who will have no regrets.
